Magic Circle Crochet Workshop (Crochet 102)

This one-hour workshop focuses exclusively on the magic circle (magic ring), an essential crochet technique used to start projects worked in the round, including amigurumi, hats, coasters, granny squares, and more. Designed as a follow-up to our Crochet 101 class, this session is best suited for crocheters who are already comfortable with the very basic stitches and are ready to add a new skill to their toolkit.

Participants will learn how to create a magic circle, work stitches into it, tighten and secure it properly, and troubleshoot common challenges. By the end of class, you'll have the confidence to incorporate this technique into a variety of crochet projects.

Prerequisite: Familiarity with basic crochet stitches is strongly recommended.

Bring your favorite crochet hook in a size 5.0mm or 6.0mm

Duration: 1 hour

Cost: $32 Includes all yarn used and a 3D-printed Magic Circle Starter Card, a reusable tool designed to help you form and hold the magic circle while learning the technique.
